How many infusions do I need?

We will do two injections a week for three weeks over three weeks. We will reevaluate after three infusions.

What is the Ketamine infusion experience like?

The ketamine experience has been described as “dissociated.”  This means your mind will shift focus from your physical body to a more mentally active inward-directed reflectivity.  Most patients find this experience calming and pleasant, accessing thoughts and memories without their emotional burden.  We provide a calm environment during this treatment. You may listen to our thoughtful selected sounds, or you may listen to your playlist.  You may play calming music during infusion this time to avoid anxiety and allow for deep relaxation.

Is Ketamine addictive?

Its not generally considered as an addictive drug However, it has been used as party drug.

Can I take my other antidepressant medications?

Yes. Ketamine is very safe and can be taken with most medications, including SSRIs, SNRIs, Lithium, Wellbutrin, tricyclics, and other psychiatric medications ( Rexulti, Abilify).
